Panasonic information and a brief history

Panasonic Corporation is multinational Japanese company, named Matsushita Electric Industrial until 2008 and is one of the major manufacturers of electronic devices (TV sets, cameras, refrigerator, air-conditioners, etc.), founded by Konosuke Matsushita in 1918 as a lightbulb socket producer.

It comprises other brands like Technincs for high-fidelity audio. In 2018 it held more than 180 thousands patents worldwide.
