Imaging Resource
Good build quality, cCompact and lightweight design, very good resolving power. It can't focus very closely, maximum aperture of f/3.5 can occasionally be limiting.
DPReview
8.4/10
It is a solid wide-angle prime for users of the company's GFX camera bodies. It's sharp wide-open and only gets sharper as you stop down a bit, it's built really well and it makes for a nice walk-around lens for all types of photography. Bokeh and sunstars aren't always the strongest, and ghosting artifacts with the sun in the frame can be a bit much. But we think its qualities outshine its shortcomings.
