RawTherapee, a famous free RAW development software, has been updated to version 5.4.
Many new features and enhancements like:
- new default processing profiles and histogram match tool to better mimic out-of-camera look;
- new algorithm for demosaicing (the first step of intepretation of a RAW file) to reduce artifacts in highlights and strong chromatic aberration;
- added support for Sony pixel shift raw files;
- new HDR tone mapping for producing more realistic images;
- reorganization of sliders moving the less used to an Advanced tab.
