It is not a perfect lens. It’s larger and heavier than what I would like, and it has a few optical imperfections. But it’s also a very impressive optical instrument, managing to combine a large maximum aperture with a wide focal length in a very credible package. It’s smooth focus ring and declicked aperture make it a great option for video.
