The Camera & Photo Imaging Show 2018 is being held in Los Angeles (California) from 1st to 4th of March and as usual many new photo products have been announced during and before the show.
Some of the new interesting camera models:
- Fujifilm X-H1, a 24 megapixel APS-C mirrorless with stabilized sensor and intial price around $1900.
- Pentax K-1 Mark II, a 36 megapixel full frame reflex with stabilized sensor also featuring a star tracking feature, with GPS but no 4K video.
- Some Canon low-level models: the mirrorless EOS M50, the entry level EOS 2000D and 4000D (the latter employing quite old technology but with a street price around just $350). Canon announced also a new flash unit Speedlight 470EX-AI that automatically rotates to the optimum angle to bounce the light off the ceiling for a soft illumination and records position between vertical and horizontal settings.
- Sony A7 III, probably the most interesting new product: a 24 megapixel full frame with advanced AF taken from the Sony flagship A9, with 5-stops stabilized sensor, 4K video, burst at 10 frame per second also fully silent, dual slot and other features at just $2000.
As usual you can find the detailed characteristics of each model in our Camera inventory - link here.
